It’s not looking good. Last month, we were flying high. Warp speed. This month, things aren’t looking so rosy. We’ve run out of rocket juice. We’re plunging down through the blogos… I mean atmosphere. Fast. We’re about to crashland on Planet Buzzword, kids, and we’re gonna hit the bottom hard. So hold onto your hats, and bust out your brown trousers with the elasticated bottoms. It ain’t gonna be pretty.

Seriously, though, is anyone gonna take blogging as an ‘industry’ seriously, when it’s full of words like those down there. It’s not big and it’s not clever. And it’ll just make *real* people smirk at us. And c’mon… isn’t it all just a little bit fruity?

Anyway, just to prove my point… I thought I’d hunt down some of the ‘best’ blogging buzzwords I could find, put them in a post, then run them up the flagpole and see who salutes them. Or, if you prefer, I could put them in the lift and see which floor they stop at. Your choice.

1) Blogiversary.

2) Blogomerate.

3) Blogjam.

4) Blog Overlord.

5) Bloggerati.

6) Blogosphering.

7) Blogtard.

8) Blogopedia.

9) Bloggregate.

10) Blogment.

Just don’t do it, kids. And lets all try to put a stop to all this nonsense before it’s really too late.
